Applications
2,4-Dimethylimidazole(CAS:930-62-1) is used in a wide range of scientific research applications, including in the study of enzyme inhibition, protein-protein interactions, and drug metabolism. In particular, 2,4-DMI is used to study the inhibition of cytochrome P450, an enzyme involved in the metabolism of drugs. 2,4-DMI has also been used to study the binding of small molecules to proteins, as well as the inhibition of the enzyme acetylcholinesterase.
